Wingman Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Wingman ("Wingman," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Wingman browser extension and related services.
Wingman helps users scan supported Luma event pages and generate a coverage-aware room map based on visible attendee information and related public-professional profile data.
Information We Collect
When you manually start a scan on a supported Luma page, Wingman may collect information visible on supported Luma event and profile pages, including:
- event page URL
- attendee names
- attendee Luma profile identifiers and profile URLs
- visible profile links shown on supported pages, such as LinkedIn, personal website, or other public social/profile links
- publicly visible text shown on supported attendee or profile pages
- scan timing and basic diagnostic information needed to process the scan
How We Use Information
We use this information to:
- process the scan requested by the user
- identify attendees appearing on a supported Luma guest list
- retrieve and organize public-professional context associated with attendee profiles
- generate room-map insights, including coverage status and role-based summaries
- maintain, secure, debug, and improve the Wingman product
How We Share Information
We may share information with:
- service providers that help us host, operate, and secure Wingman
- third-party enrichment providers that process public profile links, including LinkedIn URLs, in order to return public-professional profile information used by Wingman
We do not sell personal information through the current Wingman product flow.
User Control
Wingman performs scans only when a user manually initiates a scan from the extension.
You can stop further collection by:
- not running a scan
- uninstalling or disabling the extension
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve Wingman, or as otherwise required by law.
Security
We use reasonable measures designed to protect information processed by Wingman. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
Wingman is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we will update the effective date above and publish the revised policy at the same public URL.

For clarity, the current Wingman extension is designed to:
- read user-visible content from supported Luma event and profile pages after a manual user action
- send relevant scan data to Wingman's backend service for processing
- use third-party service providers to support hosting, operations, and public-profile enrichment
